1. Data collected
Savoir en Poche does not directly collect personally identifiable data from visitors through its public pages. The site mainly runs in the browser. Some local preferences, such as viewed facts, may be stored in the user's browser.
If a user creates an account, the site may also store their email address, display name, login sessions, and the list of favorited facts.
2. Cookies and analytics
Depending on the active configuration, cookies or technical identifiers may be used by third-party services including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Cloudflare to measure traffic, secure the service, and display sponsored content.

- YouTube Data API for publishing short videos to the project's YouTube channel
- TikTok for authorizing a connected user and uploading a fact video to TikTok as a draft when that integration is enabled
4. Use of data
Technical and aggregated analytics data may be used to improve the content, measure traffic, and support the site's monetization.
Account and favorites data is used only to authenticate the user, maintain their session, and restore their saved facts.
If a TikTok integration is enabled, TikTok data is used only to link the relevant user's TikTok account and send the selected fact video to TikTok as a draft upload. This data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.
